Picture Update 4 - Sudan and Ethiopia

Khartoum street scene.

The Blue Nile and White Nile converge to the Nile River and flows north to Egypt.

This is bureaucracy to the max: Ministry of council of Ministers - Sudan.

Sudan, at a Coke stop.

Sudanese kids.

In Sudan at a bush camp with a Sudanese local cyclist.

A rider sets off at sunrise.

Corrugated road.  This is actually not too bad, it got a lot worse.

Dilapidated railway and corrugated dirt road that we rode on.

Thanks to Jerry and Joanne Blackmore for their support of BkB!

I left the sign for Jerry and Joanne at a market in Dinder City, Sudan.

Yoga at the camp, while the Sudanese locals watched.

Kristian from Norway took pictures of the locals.

Megan and I posed in front of the locals in Sudan.

At a Sudanese Coke stop.  The locals watched while I drank.

A Sudanese kid.

Ethiopian kids on the road.

Cows thrashing in Ethiopia.

Ethiopian kids at our camp.

Sunset in Ethiopia.  Trees!!!

After a big climb.

  2. Awesome pictures. The locals reminded me of when I was growing up in the Dominican Republic. There is so little material wealth but so much emotional and spiritual abundance.
